Professor Alice Woodhead is an award winning agricultural / social systems scientist.  Her current role is Professor of Value Chains at Australian Centre for Sustainable Business and Development, University of Southern Queensland.


As a value chain specialist, she has looked at the many challenges Australia faces as an exporter of commodities and value added products, such as exporting perishable food produce to Asia. Professor Woodhead has worked with the agriculture and rural sectors for over 25 years, both as a social scientist and in the development of industry and natural resource management policy. She is a board member of the Australian ASEAN Council.
