Processing and its role in a sustainable red meat industry

Peter Dyett is a Manager in EY’s Australian strategy practice.  Peter has 10 years’ experience working in strategy, finance and government.  He has worked with clients to deliver strategy engagements focused on the key challenges they currently face, and those they may face in the future. 

As a strategy consultant, Peter regularly works with clients to identify and understand the economic, social, political, and technology trends impacting their industry.  His time spent advising on both policy and commercial matters provides him with insight into how the AMPC and wider red meat industry can adapt to a rapidly changing market and competitive environment.

In 2016, Peter supported the AMPC through working with an EY team to conduct a Strategic Risk Assessment of the Australian red meat industry.  This analysis considered the critical trends currently impacting the industry, and identified those strategic risks that may have the greatest impact on it in coming decades.
